Making the perfect Oven Roasted Pumpkin Seeds.
First wash your seeds and get all of the pumpkin gunk off of them.
Then add them to a pot of boiling salt water and continue to boil them for 15 minutes.
This will help them become super crunchy.
Next drain and dry the seeds.
Now you put them on a baking sheet and drizzle about a tablespoon of cooking oil over them and toss all seeds to coat.
Bake for 15 minutes at 350 degrees, and then toss them with salt or seasonings of your choice and bake for 10 more minutes.
Let cool and enjoy!
Our seeds turned out crunchy and delicious.
I actually separated our seeds on to two separate baking sheets. I drizzled half of them with coconut oil and seasoned them with cinnamon and sugar and the other half I used extra virgin olive oil and seasoned them with garlic salt and paprika.
They were amazing. Highly recommend using your favorite seasonings and the kids loved them.
My kids would have eaten them all if I had let them.
