In our home we have always tried to eat well. No fast food, no junk food, cut back on any unnecessary processed sugar and we’ve done pretty well. Then I decided to take it even further and over the last few weeks have started eating gluten free as much as possible, buying organic as often as I can, less meat and no processed food at all if I can help it.

So far it’s going amazingly well and part of our eating even healthier is fruit smoothies, it’s an easy, fun and delicious way to get my kids to eat more fruit. They actually beg for me to make smoothies every day. I am always trying to come up with new fruit combos and change it up as much as possible.

Our absolute favorite smoothie is a mixture of pineapple, strawberries, kiwi and banana. Yum!
